Job Description

Duties:

• Performs cardiac ultrasound evaluations.
• Communicates acute findings to Cardiologist and routes studies for interpretation.
• Obtains pertinent patient health history prior to examination.
• Prepares procedure room and equipment for daily use and is responsible for timely and efficient room preparation between procedures.
• Troubleshoots and identifies any equipment problems and reports to appropriate supervisor.
• May perform staff training and education.

Required Education:

• Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology or a related field.
• Completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program.
• Required Certifications & Licensure:
• One of the following is required:
• RDCS certified through ARDMS.
• RCS, Client and RCCS certified through CCI.

Required Skills & Experience:

• CPR.

• Schedule Hours Per Week: 40.00
• Schedule Hours Per Day: 8.00
• Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
