Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for providing sterile products and instruments to all members of the healthcare team.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.
• Completion of an appropriate Aide training program.
• A Central Technician program.
• 6 months’ previous experience in Central Supply.

Required Certification & Licensure:

• NICHSPDP Certification is required as a qualification for a CSP Tech position.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read and write.
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to read temperature gauges.

Schedule Hours Per Week: 40.00
Schedule Hours Per Day: 8.00
Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
