Job Description

Job Summary:

• Collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patients, ensuring patient goals are met and hospital mission is upheld.
• Performs procedures across a variety of specialties requiring advanced knowledge and skill.
• Demonstrates elevated collaboration with peers in decisions related to surgical patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Required: High School/GED and one of the following:
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
• Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
• Completion of a Froedtert Health-sponsored Apprentice II Program
• Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech

Licensure & Certifications:

• Required: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or AHA-approved equivalent

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
