Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Medical Technologist performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision.
• Responsible for quality control instrument maintenance and specimen procurement and processing.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Two years of clinical Laboratory experience.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification or equivalent is required before hire.
