Surgical Technologist ||

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care.
• Perform procedures across a variety of specialties.
• Collaborate with peers in decisions related to surgical patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• High School Diploma GED and completion of a Surgical Technologist Program, Military Training.
• Program as an Operating Room Specialist, or sponsored Apprentice II Program; alternatively, 10 or more years of Surgical Tech experience.
• Current AHA BLS or AHA-approved equivalent.
• Surgical patient care, surgical procedures, and collaboration.

Additional Information:

• Urology procedural department.
• Experience with local procedures involving awake patients and surgical urology procedures under anesthesia is required.
• Minimal on-call requirement; may be needed to cover last-minute call coverage gaps.
• Weekends not required.
