Monitor Technician

Job Description

Education Requirement:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Certifications Required:

• AHA BLS – required.
• EKG Certification – required.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 1 year of acute care experience, at least 2 total years experience – vital signs, watching/reading rhythm strips on monitors for heart anomalies, continuous observation, interpretation, communication and documentation of cardiac waveforms, rhythms and measurements.

Additional Requirements:

• Rotating weekends is a requirement and workers must report as scheduled including holidays.
• Please see the shift time, hours per week/day on the request and ensure your worker will be able to commit to the schedule provided by the facility.

Schedule Hours Per Week: 37.50
Schedule Hours Per Day: 7.50
Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
