Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with radiographic licensure to support complex diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- This role involves working closely with proceduralists in vascular and neuro-interventional cases, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic, vascular, and neuro-interventional procedures, including scrubbing alongside specialists.
- Operate floor- and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic imaging systems.
- Identify, retrieve, and circulate specialized equipment and products during procedures.
- Provide critical thinking support during complex and high-risk cases.
- Operate power injectors for iodinated contrast media during procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols when preparing procedural trays.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
- Utilize closed-loop communication to ensure procedural accuracy and patient safety.
- Perform post-procedure groin management.
- Document procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR) and ensure proper image transfer to PACS (Sectra) systems.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical setting.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Associate degree.
- Completion of accredited radiographic program.
Required Certifications & License:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist.
- ARRT (R) Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- BLS (AHA).
