Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with radiographic licensure to support complex diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • This role involves working closely with proceduralists in vascular and neuro-interventional cases, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic, vascular, and neuro-interventional procedures, including scrubbing alongside specialists.
  • Operate floor- and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic imaging systems.
  • Identify, retrieve, and circulate specialized equipment and products during procedures.
  • Provide critical thinking support during complex and high-risk cases.
  • Operate power injectors for iodinated contrast media during procedures.
  • Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols when preparing procedural trays.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
  • Utilize closed-loop communication to ensure procedural accuracy and patient safety.
  • Perform post-procedure groin management.
  • Document procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR) and ensure proper image transfer to PACS (Sectra) systems.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical setting.

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Associate degree.
  • Completion of accredited radiographic program.

Required Certifications & License:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist.
  • ARRT (R) Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • BLS (AHA).
