Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Performs CT imaging procedures under general supervision, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
  • May also perform general radiology procedures as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for examinations.
  • Administer IV contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Operate CT equipment and maintain image quality standards.
  • Assist radiologists with advanced diagnostic procedures.
  • Complete PACS and RIS documentation accurately.
  • Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines.
  • Transport patients to and from the Emergency Department as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Applied Science in Radiology.
  • Minimum 1 year of hospital-based CT experience.
  • ARRT Certification.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Peripheral IV insertion experience or willingness to complete training.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in high-volume hospital settings.
  • Prior experience with patient transport and emergency department workflows.
