Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic cross-sectional images.
- Perform CT exams according to department protocols and policies.
- Screen, prepare, and position patients for CT procedures.
- Evaluate CT studies for quality and completeness.
- Utilize advanced image manipulation including 3D rendering, reconstruction, and reformation.
- Send and verify images in PACS system.
- Maintain accurate exam documentation and charge capture.
- Administer contrast media as directed by Radiologist.
- Maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff.
- Explain procedures clearly and respond to patient needs professionally.
- Troubleshoot CT imaging and filming issues.
- Maintain clean and properly stocked work area.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and internal/external customers.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow effectively.
- Experience working with Client equipment.
- Minimum 2 years of travel CT experience.
Preferences:
- Level I experience preferred.
- 0–6 months of related experience mentioned in facility requirements.
