Job Description
Job Summary:
- Under general supervision, performs specialized computerized tomographic (CT) radiologic procedures on patients.
- May also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
- Completes related duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assigned to areas such as ER or OR.
- Perform portable imaging.
- Work with a range of patients, including young and geriatric populations.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Ongoing continuing education as required.
Certifications & Licensure:
- Required: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Healthcare Provider)
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Level I or II trauma experience required (ER, inpatient, outpatient, or OR settings).
Technology:
- Carestream.
- OEC C-Arms.
- Cerner.
- Epic: Not used.
Interview Type: MS Teams or Phone.
Interview Duration: 15 minutes.
Interview Panel: Manager, Supervisor, and possibly Lead Tech.
Schedule Hours per Week: 40.00
Schedule Hours per Day: 8.00
Schedule Days per Week: 5.00
