X-Ray Technologist

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Under general supervision, performs specialized computerized tomographic (CT) radiologic procedures on patients.
• May also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
• Completes related duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assigned to areas such as ER or OR.
• Perform portable imaging.
• Work with a range of patients, including young and geriatric populations.

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Ongoing continuing education as required.

Certifications & Licensure:

• Required: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Healthcare Provider)

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Level I or II trauma experience required (ER, inpatient, outpatient, or OR settings).

Technology:

• Carestream.
• OEC C-Arms.
• Cerner.
• Epic: Not used.

Interview Type: MS Teams or Phone.
Interview Duration: 15 minutes.
Interview Panel: Manager, Supervisor, and possibly Lead Tech.

Schedule Hours per Week: 40.00
Schedule Hours per Day: 8.00
Schedule Days per Week: 5.00
