Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations.
- Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs).
- Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines (sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, etc.).
- Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation.
- Maintain compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Bachelors degree with some scientific coursework preferred.
- Able to score Sleep Reliability by Client Sleep Center Guidelines, required
- Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT) required.
- BCLS Certification.
- Strong knowledge of Client Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoring.
- Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPT.
- BCLS Certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
