Specialty:

• Pediatric Cardiopulmonary (General Pediatrics & PICU)

Required Certifications:

• RRT
• RCP
• BLS
• PALS

Preferred Certification:

• NBRC NPS

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years in Pediatric and PICU settings

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory care therapies including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, airway clearance, and ventilator support.
• Perform both invasive and non-invasive ventilation and bedside spirometry.
• Respond to emergency situations including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Review physician orders and patient diagnostic results to determine appropriate therapy.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and therapy techniques.
• Accurately document treatments, therapies, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Follow all hospital policies including infection control, HIPAA, and safety standards.
