Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Cath Lab tech works in a multidisciplinary lab, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures. Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of Cathetarization equipment, while applying prescribed procedure for operation of radiology imaging equipment.

Requirements:

• Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities – Required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality – Required.
• BLS & ACLS – Required.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written – Required.
• Effective interpersonal skills – Required.
• RCIS or RAD – Required.
• Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience.
• Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or years of equivalent experience-Required.
