Job Description
Job Summary:
- Assists with the examination and treatment of patients/participants under the direction of a physician.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with treatments as ordered by the physician and supervised by the physician or registered nurse.
- Perform select clinical duties.
- Interview patients/participants, measure vital signs, and document information in patient charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
- Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
- Manage materials by ordering and stocking supplies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Follow Standard Precautions and use required personal protective equipment.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
Certifications & Licenses:
- BLS Provider certification (required).
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred.
Technology/EMR: Epic preferred.
Skills & Work Environment:
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to perform effectively in a stressful environment.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience required.

Schedule Hours per day: 8.00
