Medical Technologist

Job Description

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science.

Licensure & Certifications:

• Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent (required before hire).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols requiring independent judgment with minimal supervision.
• Responsible for quality control, instrument maintenance, specimen procurement, and specimen processing.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Two (2) years of clinical laboratory experience.
