Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment.
- Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.
- Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives.
- Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary.
- Is currently working in 2 or more of the following modalities and meets the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- One year of current clinical experience in each modality.
Required Education:
- Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Preferred Education:
- An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer.
- Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography or Bones Density within 18 month of hire/transfer.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
Schedule Notes:
- Mon – Wed, 9pm – 7pm, Friday 9pm – 7pm, Sat/Sun, 7pm – 7am, with the following full week (7 days Mon-Sun) off.
- 3rd Shift (A week): Multimodality Imaging Technologist (CT and DX).
- Tuesday – Wednesday, 9:00pm – 7:00pm, Friday, 9:00pm – 7:00pm, Saturday/Sunday, 7:00pm – 7:00am, with the following full week (7 days Monday -Sun) off.
