Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and related imaging equipment under the direction of a radiologist.
- Perform CT studies according to prescribed protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
- Review and archive images with appropriate patient data.
- Collaborate with imaging personnel, nursing staff, medical staff, patients, and visitors.
- Perform general X-ray studies, including portable X-rays, supporting ED, inpatient, and outpatient services.
- Provide CT coverage primarily for ED and inpatient settings; no invasive procedures (e.g., biopsy).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous CT experience.
- 1–2 years of college/university coursework or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Minimum 1 year full-time equivalent clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
- ARRT registered RT (R) in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Current State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
- Advanced CT certification required within 18 months of hire.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent within 3 months of hire.
- Completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
