Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Performs decontamination, sterilization and processing of equipment and supplies used during invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• May be assigned to different areas within the department with a variety of duties which require knowledge of sterile processing methods and strict adherence to established policies and procedures.

Required

• Current certification as Sterile Processing Technician – Required
• Registration by the International Association of Central Service & Materials Management – Required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalency.
