Job Description
Job Summary:
- Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors.
- Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors, position the body correctly, review physicians orders, obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self.
- Assists physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions and codes.
- Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
Required Experience:
- At least 1 year CT experience.
- Competent in X-ray required.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT Certified required.
- Texas Medical Board (TMB) License required.
Additional Skills:
- POC Lab (We will train).
Work Location:
- Position is for the main facility in the main ER working a Client CT scanner.
- Must live 100 miles away.
Schedule:
- Sunday – Tuesday every other Saturday with 5 to 6 call shifts per month.
