CT Technologist

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors.
• Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors, position the body correctly, review physicians orders, obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self.
• Assists physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions and codes.
• Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year CT experience.
• Competent in X-ray required.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT Certified required.
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) License required.

Additional Skills:

• POC Lab (We will train).

Work Location:

• Position is for the main facility in the main ER working a Client CT scanner.
• Must live 100 miles away.

Schedule:

• Sunday – Tuesday every other Saturday with 5 to 6 call shifts per month.
