Job Description:

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing inventory.
• Verify prescription details, including dosage, drug interactions, and patient information.
• Prepare medications for dispensing to patients.
• Provide basic information to patients regarding medication usage, possible side effects, and storage instructions.

Requirements:

• CPHT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) and licensed through the RI Board of Pharmacy as a Tech II.
• High School graduate with experience in pharmacy and familiarity with drug usage, or completion of a hospital-based training program leading to certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
