Job Summary:
- Magnetoencephalography is a radiology exam for the function of the brain and clinically for the localization of epilepsy.
- There are only 30 sites in the US most of which conduct research.
- We are probably the highest clinical volume site in North America.
- You will be hard pressed to find anyone with experience in MEG.
- We do not currently have weekend coverage but could change at anytime.
- Holidays are only covered for helium fills we do not have patient care MEG is not an emergent study.
- The team is a small group and we need good cohesion.
Requirements:
- At least three (3) years MRI experience – Required.
- Clinical research field Previous Magnetoencephalography (MEG) MEG & Previous Cryogen Safety – Preferred.
- High School Diploma / GED – Required.
- Technical Diploma Radiology – Required (Radiology programs are 2 years – associate degrees).
- MRI Technician (MR) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – upon hire – Required.
- General MRI experience has to be comparable to what Client does.
- Look for experience in a hospital or university setting.
