Job Description

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Masters in social work..

Experience:

  • At least one year of actual work experience in a hospital setting or an ongoing plan for consultation between the social worker and a qualified social worker must be developed.
  • Must have knowledge of community resources to meet post discharge clinical and social needs.
  • Technical Skills.

License/Certification & Skills:

  • Currently licensed by the Nevada State Board of Examiners for Social Workers (LSW).
  • Other Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
