Cath Lab Tech

Job Description

Required Experience:

• Cath experience required; IR experience is a plus.

Duties:

• Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI), and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
• Able to monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
• Provide procedural assistance to physician pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Assess and manage access site, and inform physician.
• Adhere to On-call protocol for Cath lab.
• Prepare patient for procedures.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Skills:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
• RCIS certification preferred.
• BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required.
• Cardiac Cath lab experience required.

Hours Per Week: 40.00
Hours Per Day: 10.00
Days Per Week: 4.00
