Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform lab testing in the Core Lab, and report results according to SOP.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
• Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP.
• Maintain and manage laboratory supplies.
• Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team.

Requirements:

• Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology Associates degree required.
• BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology is preferred.
• ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification.
• Strong preference for MLSs with Total Lab Automation experience.
• BS degree is Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology.
• ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary; new graduates welcome.

Schedule Hours Per Day: 8.00
Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
