Job Description

Certifications Required:

  • Licensed PTA, CPR.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 46 & 42 at Client Sites.
  • Patient Ratios: for therapy 1:8.
  • Equipment: provided.
  • EMR: Optima and PointClickCare.

Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience Skilled/LTC/Geriatrics.

Type of Patients on Unit:

  • Elderly long term care residents and skilled rehab short stay residents.
  • Typically with acute on chronic conditions i.e. CHF, COPD, Arthritis, falls/fracture, neurological, weakness.

Personality Fit:

  • Flexible, easy going, works well with team.

Dress Code:

  • Scrub Color: can wear scrubs of any color or can wear khakis (pants) and collared shirt (no t-shirts with logos or pictures).
  • Any unacceptable attire: jeans, shorts, hoodies, logos on clothes, no sweat pants.
