Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

Job Description

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year in the acute care hospital environment.
• Ideal overall experience is 2 years.
• Must be familiar with the acute care hospital setting, have excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques, be a good communicator, comfortable working with other members of the health care team (i.e. nursing, MD, Case management), team player, strong time management skills, be self-directed, flexible and able to multitask.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity in working with patients in a hospital setting, ICU experience would be an added bonus. Experience in working with diverse patient populations is also a plus.
• Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus.

Required Certifications: MA OT licensure, CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider).
