Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • The Manager of Dietary is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of Dietary Dept which includes providing and nutritional and attractive means for patients and facility employees.
  • Maintaining an organized and sanitary environment, monitoring supply inventories and purchasing food and supplies as required.
  • Ensuring proper storage of food and supplies and managing effective dietary staff in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, patient care plans and appropriate regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
  • Associate’s degree or Equivalent from a two year college or vocational or technical school Preferred.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered (RD) Preferred. If RD, FI- Dietician Licensure is required.
  • Five Years Experience in Food Service.
  • 2 Years Experience in Dietary Supervision.
  • Experience in Healthcare Food Service Facility preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of record keeping, menu planning, therapeutic diets and purchasing practicing.
  • ServSafe Certification required or Equivalent Required within 90 days of hire.
