Vascular Technologist (Travel)

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Echo/Vascular sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound and related testing on patients with suspected disorders of the cardiovascular system.
• These tests primarily include, but are not limited to, echocardiography, EKG, carotid duplex scanning, and noninvasive peripheral (arterial and venous) vascular studies.
• Sonographers must be registered or registry eligible by the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).
• Registry must be completed within one year of employment.

Facility Requirements:

• Must have BLS certifications, must be attached to the candidate submission (Must be through the American Heart Association).
• Must have ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).
• Experience as Echo tech is also preferred.
