Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision according to established standards and practices.
- Provide technical assistance and training to students.
- Complete all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures.
- Support all functions, goals, and objectives of the department.
- Assist in the development of new programs involving the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent.
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Electro neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS HCP) Certification.
- Eligible for ABRET registration.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of Neurodiagnostic experience.
- Must have both inpatient and outpatient EEG experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Natus systems.
- Familiarity with Nihon Kohden systems.
Required Skills:
- EEG Technician.
- Neurodiagnostic Technology.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.
