Job Description

Job Summary:

• The Central Sterile Processing Technician provides sterile products and instruments to all members of the healthcare team.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate Aide Training Program.
• Completion of a Central Technician Program.
• Six (6) months of previous experience in Central Supply.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• NICHSPDP Certification (required qualification for CSP Technician position).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Ability to read and write.
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to read temperature gauges.
