Cath Lab Technologist

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and prep for cardiac Caths, PCI(STEMI ) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
• Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data
• Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
• Assess and manage access site, and inform physician
• Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab
• Prepare patient for procedures.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Certifications/ License:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
• RCIS certification preferred.

Experience:

• BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required
• RT or CVT/CVIS ,RCIS with direct and current Cath Lab experience.

Schedule Hours Per Week: 38.00
Schedule Hours Per Day: 9.50
Schedule Days Per Week: 4.00
