Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- At the direction of a radiologist or other providers, prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures and operates imaging equipment.
- Performs studies according to protocol and radiation protection measures.
- Provides effective communication and interaction with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Accurately positions patients, selects technical factors, and ensures image quality with minimal repeats.
- Completes image approval, PACS archiving, EPIC workflow documentation, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Participates in shift rotations, mentoring, onboarding, and general support tasks.
Education:
- Completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- 1–2 years of additional college/university coursework or a healthcare-related degree.
Experience:
- One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
- One year of current clinical experience OR clinical student experience.
Licensure & Certifications:
- ARRT registered RT(R).
- Current Wisconsin Radiographer license.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent.

- Self-motivated.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to remain flexible during emergencies.
