Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs high quality diagnostic sonographic examinations and assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Provides guidance and instruction for students, residents, and other technologists as needed.
Required Education:
- Graduate of a Medical Sonography Program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA).
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ARDMS.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
RDMS certified with one of the following:
- Abdomen (AB).
- OB/GYN (OB).
- Vascular (VT).
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Department related sonography experience.
Schedule Hours Per Day: 8.00
Schedule Days Per Week: 5.00
Schedule Hours Per Week: 40.00
