Job Description

Duties:

  • At the direction of a radiologist and/or providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures, and operates imaging equipment.
  • Performs diagnostic studies per protocols and radiation protection standards.
  • Follows organizational customer service and excellence initiatives.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as needed.
  • Actively works in 2 or more of the following modalities with advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, Mammography.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Preferred Education:

  • 1–2 additional years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
  • ARRT registration in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or AHA-approved equivalent.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • One year of current clinical experience in each modality.
