Job Description
Duties:
- At the direction of a radiologist and/or providers, prepares patients, performs imaging procedures, and operates imaging equipment.
- Performs diagnostic studies per protocols and radiation protection standards.
- Follows organizational customer service and excellence initiatives.
- Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as needed.
- Actively works in 2 or more of the following modalities with advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, Mammography.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
- Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Preferred Education:
- 1–2 additional years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field.
Licensure & Certifications:
- ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
- ARRT registration in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or AHA-approved equivalent.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- One year of current clinical experience in each modality.
