Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic procedures per department and hospital policies
- Delivers treatment, management, control, and diagnostic evaluation for cardiopulmonary conditions
- Services include medical gas therapy, aerosol/humidification therapy, medication administration, ventilator support, bronClientulmonary clearance, airway maintenance, patient education, and CPR
- Provides care across critical and non-critical settings for patients of all ages.
- Supports Client’s mission, vision, and values.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Associate Degree from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program – Required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care – Preferred.
Required Licensure & Certifications:
- State of Wisconsin License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner – Required.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Required.
- BLS – Required.
- ACLS – Required.
Preferred Licensure & Certifications:
- Membership with AARC and WSRC – Preferred.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (work or educational) in both general and critical care – Required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of hospital-based respiratory care experience – Preferred.
