Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists physicians with performance of interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic interpretation and/or therapeutic interventions.
  • Responsible for preparation, documentation of inventory of materials, supplies and coding used for interventional radiology services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Post high school completion of (minimum) a 2-year, approved, program in Radiologic Technology.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

  • Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI or ARRT-CV or ARRT-VI.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Progressive responsibility and experience in IR/NIR and or Cath Lab.
  • One year of experience in an IR or Cath Lab setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the operation of interventional radiographic and related diagnostic and therapeutic equipment/supplies.
