Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists physicians with performance of interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic interpretation and/or therapeutic interventions.
- Responsible for preparation, documentation of inventory of materials, supplies and coding used for interventional radiology services.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
- Post high school completion of (minimum) a 2-year, approved, program in Radiologic Technology.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
- Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI or ARRT-CV or ARRT-VI.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Progressive responsibility and experience in IR/NIR and or Cath Lab.
- One year of experience in an IR or Cath Lab setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the operation of interventional radiographic and related diagnostic and therapeutic equipment/supplies.
