Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • At the direction of a radiologist, operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment.
  • Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols, and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.
  • Reviews images; archives with associated patient data.
  • Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education:

  • Post-high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Preferred Education:

  • 1–2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • ARRT registered RT (R) in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer.
  • Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required within 3 months of hire.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of one year (full-time equivalent) clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Previous CT experience.

Schedule Notes:

  • 5 Days Per Week, 40 Hours Per Week, Hoping/Preferably Weekend Program (Thurs–Sun), Flexible and Open to Learning Protocols.
