Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist

Job Description

Required Education & Certifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology.
• BS or MS in Healthcare preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Ultrasound Technologist required.
• Experience as a Lead preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Ultrasound Tech license required.
• Performs health care services utilizing Ultrasound to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease states.
• Performs ultrasound procedures and uses related techniques, producing images for interpretation by the Radiologist.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by regulatory and accreditation agencies.
• Performs required equipment quality control procedures and reports deficiencies to supervisor.
