Job Description
Job Summary:
- This position takes in-coming calls from members, providers, etc. providing professional phone assistance to all callers.
- This role also helps prepare medications (counting, applying labels) for pharmacist final verification along with any other pharmacy technician job functions not mentioned here specifically.
Education and License:
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
- Pharmacy Technician license is required.
Experience:
- Minimum one year experience required in a customer service position taking inbound calls, help with counting and preparing medications for pharmacist verification.
- Minimum year experience as a pharmacy technician or closely related role.
Skills:
- Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
- Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.
