Central Sterile Technician (Travel)

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Responsible for all aspects of the reprocessing of re-usable instrumentation and supplies.
• Ensures sterile items are delivered to the right place, at the right time, in the right condition and is the right item.
• Sterile processing includes Decontamination, Preparation, Sterilization, and Storage of processed items.
• Responsible for monitoring, testing, and record maintenance of the processes.

Facility Requirements:

• Must have their Sterile Tech certification, Must be currently certified in CRCST or CSPDT, this must be attached to the submission packet.
• Must have BLS certification, this must be attached to the submission packet (Must be through the American Heart Association).
• Must have 3 years Sterile Tech recent experience in a hospital setting.
