Job Summary:
- Assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care services according to hospital standards and department policies.
- Deliver respiratory treatments including medication administration (nebulizer/MDI), oxygen and medical gas therapy, aerosol therapy, incentive spirometry, PEP therapy, and chest physiotherapy.
- Monitor patient respiratory status using pulse oximetry and respiratory mechanics.
- Provide care in both non-critical and critical care settings.
- Manage mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive), including monitoring, adjustments, and maintenance.
- Assist with intubation, extubation, suctioning, bronchoscopy, and respond to code blue and emergency calls.
- Verify physician orders and document accurate clinical information in the medical record.
Requirements:
- RRT credential (NBRC)/ CRT.
- Valid Oklahoma RCP license or temporary practice letter.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- Adult critical care , NICU experience preferred.
