Job Summary:
- Performs general radiographic procedures to support diagnostic imaging services.
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and maintains quality imaging for patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general radiographic imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and proper positioning.
- Maintain imaging quality and equipment standards.
- Follow hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Support increased imaging demand due to clinic expansion and OR volume.
Required Education:
- Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist to include Military Training.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience.
- Completion of Radiologic Technologist training program (including military training if applicable).
- Ability to perform general radiographic procedures.
