Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• For Supervisory Assignments a valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
• End two (2) years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with Assignment Levels I and II, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• For Specialized Imaging Assignments a valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH; and possession of a current advanced level certification for the performance of these procedures.

Required Education Certifications & Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers.
• Associates or bachelor Degree in Radiological Sciences.
• Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH. Preferred Certifications & Licensure.
• BLS.
