Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Department (ED), General Diagnostics, and Fluoroscopy.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain diagnostic image quality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in an acute care environment.
Required Education:
- Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist to include Military Training.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year of General Radiographer experience.
- Experience performing general diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- General Radiography.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Acute care hospital experience.
- Experience in the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Department (ED), General Diagnostics, and Fluoroscopy.
- Military Radiologic Technologist training accepted.
