Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Department (ED), General Diagnostics, and Fluoroscopy.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in an acute care environment.

Required Education:

• Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist to include Military Training.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year of General Radiographer experience.
• Experience performing general diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• General Radiography.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Acute care hospital experience.
• Experience in the Operating Room (OR), Emergency Department (ED), General Diagnostics, and Fluoroscopy.
• Military Radiologic Technologist training accepted.
