CT Technologist

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures using Client Scanner equipment.
• Independently manage scanning duties during assigned shifts.
• Support diagnostic imaging services for a diverse patient population.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiologic standards in compliance with NYSDOH and ARRT.

Education:

• A valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or in radiation therapy issued by the NYSDOH – Required.
• Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Required.

Licensure & Certifications:

• NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography.
• BLS – Preferred.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience – Required.
• Experience with Client Scanner equipment – Required.
• Independent work capability during most tours – Required.

Additional Schedule Notes:

• Sunday shift (4pm – 12am) required weekly (non-negotiable)
• Other shifts will vary:
• Monday: 8am – 4pm or 4pm – 12am.
• Tuesday/Wednesday: varied.
• Friday: 12am – 8am.
• Saturday: 4pm – 12am.
• Most shifts are independent.
• Shift details to be finalized during interview.
