Intraoperative Neurophysiologist (IOM) Tech

Job Description

Must have : Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (C.N.I.M)

Responsibilities:

• To meet the needs of the patient and to support the Department by performing a variety of clinical tests and monitoring
  procedures in the Neurophysiology Labs.
• Monitoring and testing is performed throughout the hospital: Epilepsy Unit, NICU, Operating Room, Radiology Suites and Intensive care units.
• Ability to communicate pertinent information effectively to Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and other appropriate personnel.
• To maintain, clean and calibrate equipment and maintain all records necessary.

Skills:

• Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity
• Able to speak and write English Fluently
• Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Education:

• Board Registration in related field or eligibility to sit for boards within given timeframe.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the clinical Neurophysiology field
