Surgical Technologist I

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgeries.
• Assist surgical teams during procedures in neuro, thoracic, and vascular specialties.
• Ensure surgical instruments are sterilized and functioning properly.
• Maintain patient safety and aseptic techniques throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff.
• Handle surgical specimens and documentation as per protocol.

Education:

• Completion of accredited surgical technologist program.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years (Required).
• Candidates with 1 year experience must pass competency testing.
• Specialty Experience in Strong background in neuro, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.

Certification:

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (Required at time of submission).
