Job Description

Summary:

• Assists surgeons and the surgical team during procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile conditions, and ensuring instruments and supplies are ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Set up the operating room before procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgery by passing instruments.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures.
• Count instruments, sponges, and supplies before and after surgery.
• Ensure proper cleaning and restocking after procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certification in Surgical Technology.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
