Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to assist Interventional Cardiologists in performing invasive and non-invasive cardiology procedures, including peripheral vascular studies.
  • The technologist will support diagnostic examinations, collect data, and provide accurate recordings to assist in patient diagnosis and care planning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Assist with invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular procedures.
  • Operate specialized equipment to collect and record anatomical and physiological data.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and allied health staff in a high-acuity environment.
  • Document all procedures accurately in EMR.

Education:

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree.
    Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program.
    Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Program.

Certifications (Required):

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist ( RCIS).
  • Basic Life Support ( BLS).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support ( PALS).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ( ACLS).

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in the cardiovascular specialty.
