Certified Surgical Technician

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and preparing for the surgical procedure and assisting the surgeon.
• Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and to assemble scheduled and emergency case carts.

Education:

• High School diploma – Required.

Experience:

• minimum 3 years experience, ENT, GEN, GYN, NEURO/CRANI/SPINE, Client, UROLOGY, VASCULAR, ROBOTICS.
• 3 years of experience in an operating room setting required.

Certifications Required:

• CST.
• NBSTSA required.
• BLS certification required.

Skills:

• Good communication skills.

Location Requirement:

• Must live 100 miles away.

Shift Details:

• Shift Time: 6:30.
• Days: days to be selected with discussion upon candidate arrival but days will fall within Monday-Friday.
• On Call Requirement: nights & weekends, 7-10 shifts per month (includes weekend shifts broken into 12 hours shifts).
